MECHANISM OF ACTIONS :
Diaper rash – vitamin A+D topical ointment
provides prompt soothing relief for diaper rash
and helps heal baby `s tender skin , forms a
moisture- proof shield that helps protect
against urine and detergent irritants , comforts
baby's skin and helps prevent chafing .
Chafed skin – vitamin A+D topical ointment helps
skin retain its vital natural moisture , quickly
soothes chafed skin in adults and children and
helps prevent abnormal dryness .
Abrasions and minor burns-vitamin A+D topical
ointment soothes and helps relieve the smarting
and pain of abrasions and minor burns (
e.g.sunburn , wind burn ) , encourages healing
and prevents dressing from sticking to the
injured area .
INDICATIONS :
Temporary relief of discomfort due to minor
burns , sunburn , windburn , abrasions , chapped
or chafed skin and other minor non-infected skin
irritations including diaper rash and
irritations associated with ileostomy and
colostomy skin drainage .
CONTRAINDICATIONS :
Vitamin A+D topical ointment is contraindicated
in patients with known hypersensitivity to any
of its components including vitamins A and D .
ADVERSE EFFECTS :
There is no evident adverse reaction for this
